QUIRKY TALES

Quirky Tales has evolved. What began as a love for beautiful Indian textiles, craftsmanship and accessories has gradually found its deeper expression in the artistic heritage of Nathdwara and the timeless world of Pichwai.

What Inspires Us

It is the story behind it.

Along the way, we discovered that what truly inspires us isn't simply the beauty of an object. It is the symbolism hidden within a motif.

The emotion behind an adornment.

The poetry of a Pichwai.

The architecture of a haveli.

The delicate artistry of a traditional craft.

Not Recreation. Reinterpretation.

Today, Quirky Tales is about bringing these stories into the present — through objects that are contemporary, functional and made to be cherished.

We don't recreate heritage exactly as it was.

We interpret it. We translate it. We reimagine it.

And every piece follows our three-part journey.

The Three-Part Journey

Narrated

Every design begins with a story.

We look at Pichwai, Nathdwara, temple architecture, traditional adornment, seasonal imagery and the many visual details that surround this rich cultural world. We discover the meaning behind them and interpret them through our own lens.

The story comes first.

Crafted

The story then moves from imagination into craft.

Rich textiles, embroidery, zari, resham, zardozi, pearls and traditional embellishment techniques bring the idea to life. We celebrate the artistry of the hands behind every detail, while allowing traditional craftsmanship to take on a contemporary form.

Craft gives the story its soul.

Created

And finally, the story becomes something new.

A Pichwai motif becomes a potli. An architectural detail becomes an embellishment. A traditional form is reimagined for the modern woman. These are pieces made to be carried into weddings, celebrations, festive occasions — and eventually, into everyday life.

Heritage becomes something you can experience,

not just admire.

Our Purpose

The Vision

Heritage is not static.

Quirky Tales exists to preserve the essence of Indian heritage while reimagining it for a contemporary world. Our vision is to build a bridge between tradition and today — where stories from pichwais, havelis, and centuries-old craft traditions are not confined to archives, but are lived, worn, and experienced in new forms.

Narrated. Crafted. Created.

Heritage stories, reimagined.

Through our work, we aim to make cultural storytelling a part of everyday expression — intimate, personal, and beautifully modern.

About The Founder

The Founder Story

From handcrafted bags to a deeper calling.

Quirky Tales began with handcrafted wedding and festive bags — a love for Indian textiles, craftsmanship and creating pieces with character. But it slowly became something more.

My personal journey of faith brought me closer to Pushtimarg, and with it, to Nathdwara, Shrinathji and the world of Pichwai.

What began as curiosity turned into a deeper connection. I started looking beyond the beauty of the art — into its devotion, symbolism and stories. The lotus, the peacock, the Gopi's adornment, the architecture of a haveli — every detail seemed to speak.

And somewhere along that journey, Quirky Tales evolved too. From handcrafted festive bags, it became a way to explore faith, heritage, art, craft and storytelling through design. Today, we draw from Nathdwara and Pichwai, interpret their stories and reimagine them into pieces that can be carried, worn, gifted and lived with.

I don't see this as recreating the past. I see it as continuing a story in a new form.

Notes From The Founder

Every Quirky Tales creation is more than a product.

It carries a tale. And this is mine

From handcrafted bags to a calling in Pushtimarg.

From curiosity to connection.

From heritage to living stories.

Quirky Tales

Narrated. Crafted. Created.

Heritage stories, reimagined.
